The founders of P22 previously launched a mobile photos focused start-up called Snapr in 2010, a precursor to Instagram, that later became a platform that made it easy to build and manage a diverse range of apps with social photos at the centre.
Victoria’s Secret licensed the technology for 6 years as a main feature of their Pink Nation app.

Snapr natively built the entire photo aspect of the Pink Nation app - comprising photo effects, stickers and sharing - on iOS and Android. It included a comprehensive back-end which handled users’ accounts, image hosting, and sharing, as well as content management and analytics tools for Victoria Secret’s brand managers.
Only available in the US market, the Pink Nation app was consistently ranked in the top 10 for the Lifestyle category, with millions of users.
